THE CHOW CHOW CLUB OPEN SHOW SCHEDULE - 21/2/2010

FOLLOWED BY ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Annual General Meeting will follow this Show at approximately 2.00 pm.

Items for the agenda and/or nominations for Officers and Committee are required by 21/1/2010. All Officers and Committee have to be elected annually. Only full paid up members for 2009, who were also members in 2008, may vote at the Annual General Meeting.

INTRODUCING YOUR JUDGE MRS R HEIMS

"Our first chow puppy joined us in September 1975 a beautiful shaded red of Edlen breeding. To our delight she was made up to CH Somaydego Thuya Ka. Since those early days, we have been on the chow chow scene continuously with a good deal of success. Together Eric and I have bred a number of litters with our chows, notably Brunita Red Robin and Brunita Sir Thomas. Our star for a number of years now is Mayjo Benjamin at Brunita bred by Pauline Willox. We have campaigned Ben successfully to 1 Challenge Certificate and Best of Breed, 2 Res. CC’s, 2 Best in Shows and 1 Res. Best in Show all at a variety of Breed Club and General open shows. Now at 12 years of age he still has the appetite to compete in the veteran classes in which he has been very successful. At this show last year Len Quinn awarded Ben Best In Show.

Our new young star ‘Miketilla Mondrian At Brunita’ already has shown with a good deal of success,we will enjoy showing him for many years to come. At this moment there are four chows in our house, Aluna Fascination at Brunita,’ Amy’ has 1 Reserve CC , not forgetting Brunita Sir Thomas. I have passed both the Chinese and the Chow judging training schemes. This will be my sixth English club show. I have also judged the breed in Sweden. I was delighted to be invited to judge at the Parent club and look forward to the day."
